Lovely Ladybird
As you know Bart, Blade and Miss Behave have a ladybird friend who is always part of their adventures. Let Blade show you how to make a lovely ladybird which you can use as a card or party invitation.

-
Two paper plates
Scissors
Split pins
Black cardboard
Red paint
Black paint
Pipe cleaners
Glitter
Glue

-
Cut one of your paper plates in half.
Paint the two halves red and leave them to dry.
Cut a small semi-circle from the black cardboard and attach it to the other plate. This will be the ladybird's
face.
Paint black dots onto your two halves and leave to dry.
Attach the two halves to the other paper plate with the split pins so that they can move in and out. These
will be the wings.
Now add the pipe cleaners to the face for feelers. You can add eyes, nose and mouth if you like.
Decorate with glitter.
If you want to use the ladybird as a card or invitation you can write your message on the paper plate
under the wings.
