Pyramid Box
To make this fun Pyramid Box you will need:
Strong flexible cardboard
A ruler
A pencil
A protractor
A craft knife
PVA glue and brush
Paints and a paintbrush
An adult to help you with the craft knife and measurements
Draw a square base in the centre of a large piece of cardboard.
Using your protractor draw a triangle (with equal sides) on each side of your square.
Draw a 1cm flap on two sides of each triangle.
Make dotted lines and fold carefully along them.
It is easier if you decorate your pyramid before putting it together, so paint some hieroglyphics,
bricks, patterns etc on the outside. Use lots of blue, turquoise and gold.
Leave to dry.
Glue three sides together along the flaps.
On the open side, cut your flaps to make them smaller.
Cut little slits in the corresponding flaps for them to slot into. This will allow the box to open and close.
Now you can use your pyramid box as a gift box or a secret hiding place for your treasure!
