Tired of blowing up balloons with your mouth? Bart can show you how to blow them up using a magic potion. You will need:

• A balloon
• Vinegar
• An empty bottle
• A teaspoon
• Bicarbonate of soda

Bart says: As the bicarbonate of soda mixes with the vinegar it bubbles up and forces air into the balloon. This makes it blow up by itself just like magic.

1. Tell your audience you are going to make a balloon blow up by using a magic potion.
2. Pour some vinegar into the bottle (don't tell them that it is vinegar - think of something creative to call it)
3. Put a teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda into the balloon (once again don't tell them what it is) and stretch it over the neck of the bottle.
4. Pick up the top of the balloon and empty out the bicarbonate of soda.
5. Wave your wand over the balloon.
6. Watch the bubbles start forming and the balloon start to get bigger and bigger.
