Let Blade teach you how to make a secret message appear from a blank piece of paper. You will need:

• A knife
• A cup
• A lemon
• A paintbrush
• Paper
• A candle in a holder
• Matches

Blade says: before you perform your trick cut the lemon in half and squeeze out the juice into a cup. Dip the paintbrush into the lemon juice and paint a picture or message on the paper. Allow it to dry (the picture or message will disappear as it dries). Now you are ready to impress your friends.

1. Show the audience your piece of paper, tell them that although it appears to be blank you can use magic to show them a secret message.
2. Wave your wand over the paper and say your magic words.
3. Carefully light the candle.
4. Hold the paper above the flame and the secret message will show up. Be careful not to hold it too close to the flame or your trick will be a disaster!
5. Show your audience the paper which now contains the secret message and wait for the applause.
