Let Bart show you how to make a coin disappear under a hankerchief You will need:

• A large hankerchief
• A small elastic band

1. Hide an elastic band in your right hand.
2. Drape the hankerchief over your hand.
3. Slip your thumb, first finger and second finger into the elastic band under the hankerchief.
4. Ask someone in your audience for a coin and push it into the hankerchief. Make sure it goes into the circle made by your fingers stretching the elastic band.
5. Release your thumb and fingers and the elsatic band will close, trapping the coin.
6. Wave your wand over the hankerchief and say your magic words. Now you can shake the hankerchief.
7. Wow! The coin has vanished (the coin is actually in a lump at the back of the hanky but your audience won't notice.
