Want to cut a banana without touching it? Let Blade show you how to magically peel a banana and let it fall into the same number of pieces chosen by someone in the audience. You will need:

• Stiff paper or card
• A koki pen
• Scissors
• A bunch of bananas
• A darning or sewing needle

Before you start your trick you must:

1. Cut out four pieces of card and write the numbers 1, 2, 3 and 4 on them.
2. Stick the needle into one of the bananas, wriggle the needle gently from side to side. In the same way make a second hole. This means that the banana will be in three pieces.

Now you are ready to wow your audience!

1. Call up someone from the audience and place the four number cards in front of them.
2. Ask him to choose two numbers. If he picks two numbers that are not the 3 take away those two cards. If he picks two and one of them is the 3 then take away the two cards he hasn't picked. The idea is that the 3 stays on the table.
3. Now ask him to choose another number from the two remaining cards. If he picks the 3 take the other card away, if he doesn't choose the 3, take away the other card. In this way the number 3 remains on the table and your friend thinks that he actually chose the number 3.
4. Take the 'special' banana and wave your wand over it mysteriously.
5. Now hand your friend the banana (make sure it is the one you prepared earlier) and ask them to peel it.
6. Wow wow wee wah! It will fall into three pieces and everyone will admire your magical powers.
